Arturo Sandoval

This is a piece I did for Philippe Debongnie's Jazz and Draw blog. Everybody should visit it, because it's a great project without a lot of cool illustration from tons of different people. Here's the link. Illustrator friends who like jazz: participate! He accepts submissions from everybody. Just pick a jazz piece you really like, or a jazz musician you love, and use that to inspire an illustration. 

Cherokee is one of the most mind-bogglingly amazing pieces I've ever heard. 4 jazz trumpeters, my favorite of whom is Arturo Sandoval, play -- nevermind. Just see the video here. I didn't even know people's fingers could move that fast...
