I recently illustrated a set of three maps for a GBOD (General Board of Discipleship) newsletter. I love drawing maps, so I had a blast with the assignment. I took a non-functional direction, focusing more on the general feel of each location, and less on nitty-gritty details (like getting each building placed correctly).
